The Sea Salt & Charcoal Bar is built on the same simple foundation as our Bare Bar: raw goat milk from our herd, clean hand-rendered Mangalitsa lard from our farm, and lye, with sea salt, activated charcoal, and tea tree oil added for a refreshing deep clean. Sea salt, known for its mineral content, gentle exfoliating character, and traditional cleansing properties. Activated charcoal is known for its ability to bind to unwanted residue, a property that has made it useful in filtration and cleansing for generations. Tea tree oil is known for its naturally occurring antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. This bar feels clean, crisp, and straightforward, with a lighter lather than our other soaps because of the sea salt.

This bar starts with the same foundation as the Bare Bar: hand-rendered lard from our own timber-raised Mangalitsa pigs, raw goat milk from our herd, and a simple recipe we trust for our own family. Sea salt adds mineral character and a firmer, more cleansing feel. Activated charcoal gives the bar its dark color and deep-cleaning character. Tea tree oil is known for its antimicrobal properties and gives it a crisp, refreshing scent. Scent Profile

Subtly crisp, clean, and herbal from tea tree oil. No synthetic fragrance. The scent comes from the tea tree oil itself.

Ingredients

• Raw goat milk
• Hand-rendered Mangalitsa lard
• Sea salt
• Activated charcoal
• Organic Tea tree oil
• Sodium hydroxide

Sodium hydroxide, also called lye, is required to make real soap. Traditionally made from wood ash and water, lye has long been part of traditional soapmaking. During saponification, lye reacts with fats and is used up through the process, leaving behind finished soap.

How to use

Lather with warm water, rinse clean, and allow the bar to dry between uses. This bar may be less sudsy than our other soaps because of the added sea salt, but it cleans very well. Keeping the bar dry between uses will help it last longer.

Weight

Approximately 2 3/4 oz bar. Each bar is cut by hand, so weight, shape, color, and appearance may vary slightly.
